Plan every detail on screen before the first wall comes down

Majestic Home Solutions is a family-owned remodeling contractor in Sterling Heights that has worked on Southeast Michigan homes since 1995. Many of its Google reviews mention finished basements, and the same crew takes on kitchens and bathrooms, from tear-out to the last piece of trim.

What sets the process apart is how much gets settled up front. Design meetings happen over Zoom at a time that suits you, and an optional Design Agreement buys extra hours with the design team for 3D renderings in Chief Architect and material picks. If you move ahead, that fee is applied to your project total.

Founded by craftsman Zayne Roumaya in 1995

Zayne Roumaya, an experienced craftsman, founded the company as “Majestic” in 1995, working on carpentry, deck design and remodeled basements, kitchens and baths. In 2005 it was reorganized into the family-owned Majestic Home Solutions, LLC, and its focus moved toward high-end design for basement finishing, kitchen remodels and bath refurbishments.

Homeowners meet Zayne on the job too: Andre A. named him and Chris in his review after his basement was finished in early 2024. Every new hire passes a background check and skills evaluation, and licensed staff take continuing education courses to stay current on code.

What to know before you finish a basement or remodel

How much does a finished basement cost?

Majestic publishes three packages for qualifying homes built in 1985 or later: Bronze at $65,000 for 750 to 850 square feet, Silver at $85,000 for 850 to 1,000 square feet, and Gold at $100,000 for 1,000 to 1,100 square feet. Upgrades such as a wet bar, full bathroom or extra room are priced separately.

What is a Design Agreement?

It is an optional first step that covers a virtual design consultation, material selections and renderings of your space, with a set number of revisions. Fees start at a $2,500 minimum for projects under $100,000 and rise with project size. If you go ahead with construction, the fee is deducted from your project total.

Do I have to take time off work for design meetings?

No. Majestic holds its design meetings and consultations over Zoom at a time that works for you, so you can review material selections and renderings from home or the office. Once your design is approved, you receive a full construction spec and contract with no hidden costs.

Is financing available?

Majestic's kitchen and bathroom pricing guides state that financing is available at 18% added to the total price. Packages are set at standard options, and estimates are done in person or from required photos you send. Problems found behind walls can add cost, so ask about them during your estimate.

What warranty do you offer?

Majestic gives an 18-month warranty on all of its labor. If an issue comes up, call the office and the team will take care of it. At final payment you also receive a full waiver of lien, so you know the subcontractors and suppliers on your job have been paid.
